I am really on a "Love" kick since Valentines Day is this month. I am really getting use out of the
kits... I never thought I could get so much out of
kits!
This first layout was created with a picture from my boyfriend's brother's wedding. (That's a lot to say!) This is a picture of the bride's shoes.. you can see the mud on her dress because of the rain. It was a messy wedding! I love that she wore these shoes instead of something traditional. Most brides are doing this now since you can't see the shoes anyway!
I used an edge puncher along the bottom of the paper as well as on the
"State of the Heart" paper that is in between all of the
Doodlebug. Something else that I did, purely by accident was the popped up circle from the photo of the shoes.... what happened is that on the original photo I wanted to add some liquid pearl around the shoes to make them pop... well, my cat got involved and totally smeared the liquid pearls before it dried, ruining the photo in that area. So, I printed another photo of the same size, and used my circle cutter to cut out a circle around the shoes, and took that circular photo of the shoes and raised it with
foam dots to emphasize it! So, I fixed the mistake, and ended up loving the result even more!
This second layout is also from the wedding, and I used the
"Sweet Love" Collection for this! I really just wanted this one simple so that the focus would be on the photo. I love the paper!!! So cute!
I so hope that you enjoyed my projects for today. My apologies for being a little late getting them posted... we have had some major storms here and I was with the kiddos because of snow days. They kept me pretty occupied, so I was super tired last night, and didn't get the post set up!
Below are the products from the
store that I used.... remember there are awesome deals on the Doodlebug kits still!!!
Absolutely gorgeous layouts :)
