More work from the Feelin' Groovy Collection!

Hi! Emily here with another share from the Doodlebug Feelin' Groovy Collection.  At first sight I didn't think I would get so much out of the Kit that is sold in the store. I was mistaken... there is a ton in the kit!! So I was able to complete a lot! This layout was one of the several things I created with the kit

We love to read in our house, and the papers in the collection are so bright and colorful that they went very well with the photos of the book covers that I used in the layout.

I also created this cute layout of my cat Toby. He loves to hang out with me in my studio whenever I work. Of course, he can cause more trouble than not half the time... he has knocked over many bottles of paint and glue. Not to mention, gotten paint or glue on himself!

Much of this layout was created with the scraps that I had left from my other projects. Didn't I say that the kit went far!! ?

I have listed the products used for my layouts below. Click on the link below each picture and you can get some of these awesome items for yourself in the HappyNScrappin' Store!!

Who's Feelin' Groovy Today?? Plus, a winner!!!

Happy Thursday!! Em here, brining you another project I created with some awesome products from the HappyNScrappin' store.

Recently we moved Austin, my son into his own room. He and Serenity, his little sister, had been sharing a room for the past few years. Now that we have each of them in their own rooms, there really aren't a lot of decorations or decor in their rooms. I have been working on making things for their rooms... which is one of the reasons today's project was created.

I created this decorated tray for Serenity's room. She LOVES bright colors, rainbows and flowers, so the second I saw the Doodlebug "Feelin' Groovy" Collection I knew what to do. I had a 7 Gypsies Letterblock Tray already... but, you can find it at the HappyNScrappin' store as well! Just click the link

Here is how the final project turned out...
If you have never decorated one of these, let me tell you, it's not that difficult... and quite fun as well! I just imagine each individual section as an individual page I am working on... and just make sure I am coordinating all of the products. That's why I enjoy working with kits like the "Feeling Groovy" page kit for something such as this. All of the coordinating products are together!

Here is a collage of some closeups of various parts of the tray. I have larger images on my blog

Here are the products from the store that I used to create this project. Click on the links below the images to go to the items!

A Card Using Imaginisce Enchanted Collection

This is Gaby with a Scraplift a Circle Blog Project Challenge! while showcasing
Imaginisce Enchanted Collection for Happy N Scrappin'
The Circle Blog provided no instructions on how this card was created, so I just looked and looked (OK stared!) at card and figured what exact paper and techniques the Designer had used up the the painting of the first layer! (I used a white dubber) -- Lucky that Happy N Scrappin' had just sent me the Enchanted Collection from Imaginisce!
This is the card that Circle Blog Designer Sarah Martina Parker created
Requirements:
•Use 2 or more Cricut Cuts on the project.
Cut Baby Shower word and shadow at 1.12" using my Gypsy and Expression
Cut Baby Girl undies at 5.98" (it's the layer--reason for large size cut)
and added the bow to be cut on the undies at 3.35" (layer also)
Cut bear head at 1.73"
Cut pin at 2.03"
Cut frame/label  at 3.25" and at 2.95"
•Use a project you have seen on the Cricut Circle Blog as inspiration for your project.
They just posted this baby card to showcase the new Baby Steps cartridge, but of course I do not have yet, so I used the following carts to scraplift!
Paper Dolls for Everyday
New Arrival
Storybook
•Use products from at least two of our Sponsors
I used Imaginisce Enchanted (same used) for patterned paper and ribbon that you can find at HappyNScrappin', and Bazzil Basic white and pink cardstock.

More Valentines Creations... and... a Giveaway!!!

Happy Thursday everyone!! Emily here to share some projects I created with products from HappyNScrappin'.  I don't know what weather is like where you live, but we are in the middle of a big snowstorm! I was busy last night finishing up these projects to share with you while watching the snow fall!

Today, I wanted to share the other projects I created for Valentines Day with the My Mind's Eye "State of the Heart" collection. I realized that I was also missing some cute boxes to have around the house as well. Or, I can use them for candy!
These are three I created with templates I have from various places on the internet.

These are the other two. I now have them hanging in my living room.

I would also like to share this layout created with the "Sweet Love" collection from Doodlebug. HappyNScrappin' has some AWESOME Doodlebug kits  available in the store for the various collections!

The couple in the photo are Kraig and Lauren. Kraig is my boyfriends younger brother. He and Lauren got married this past September after being together for ten years! With this layout, I wanted it fairly simple, which is why I only used one style of patterned paper. I wanted to use more embellishments from the kit... which I love!!!

Before I share with you the products used today, I wanted to have a giveaway!! Woo hoo!! To celebrate my this wonderful store, I was given a Making Memories Noel kit to giveaway!! These are valued at $39.99 each!! That's pretty sweet! But wait, that's not all! In addition to this kit, I am going to also give the winner 8 double sided pages of cardstock and 6 patterned papers! They are Valentine themed. A couple of the sheets are even from the "State of the Heart" by MME collection and the "Sweet Love" collection from Doodlebug!  This will close by midnight on Wednesday CST.

Here they are:

There are only two things you need to do.... leave a comment in this post telling me a product you really would love from the store, and then become a follower of this blog!!! Easy! I will even give you an additional entry to win if you tell your friends about this giveaway on your blog or Facebook!
