Halloween Goody Bag

We R Memory Keepers Sew Ribbon takes the concept of stitching thread to now threading ribbon! Like the Sew Easy which allows users to create beautiful stitched patterns on all types of projects, crafters can now make beautiful designs with their ribbon! Crafters have been using ribbon for years to embellish their projects, and now they can not only easily apply the ribbon to the project, but instead of doing simple lines and bows, they can make interesting designs like: weave, flowers, scallop, leaf, shoelace and zig zag. The new product line by We R Memory Keepers also includes 10 ribbon packs in various colors and textures, and extra “needles.”

Here are the instructions - just click on the image below to enlarge.

So Very Thankful LO with FP Summer's End

Happy Wednesday! Gaby here with a layout using
Fancy Pants Summer's End Kit

I created this two page layout of my babies enjoying the pumpkin patch.
I have previously shared a layout using same pictures.  This layout will go to my daughter. (or not?)

The kit has plenty of paper and embellishments to create a few layout by just adding some additional cardstock.

On this page (left) I used green and brown twine, genuine hemp, couple of tags, MCT stamps (word "love"), the title is from the FP Summer's End collection's "glitter cuts" -- and Cricut Pop Up Neighborhood cartridge.
The bottom orange colored stitch is a rub-on from the FP collection's rub-on sheet.  The brown stitching was done with a sewing machine and brown thread.
I inked the hay, corn field and pumpkins with distress in and chalk. Added brads to wheels.
For the right page I used the Cricut Pop Up Neighborhood and Old West (hay). Additionally I utilized green and brown twine, FP rub-ons for the orange stitch, word-Fall and the "so much to be thankful for" phrase, the leaves are from the FP collection's glitter cuts.  I wrapped genuine hep on the scarecrows neck and on the hay pack. Finished it with a MCT stamp on the tag and stapled the twine with Tim Holtz tiny attacher.

Card and Layout with Doodlebug Classic Essentials

Gaby here with a card and layout using the
Doodlebug Classic Essentials Kit that you can find
at the [STORE]

For the card I sanded the background paper's edge to give it the white edge look-- a new trend in card making and scrap booking.  Love the bling brads (flower) and the sheet of stickers included in the kit have lots of glitter.

For the layout I added lots of stitching and stamped and heat embossed the baby word, baby rattle on tag and flowers (black).
This is my friend's daughter and she gave me the date but forgot it at work, so I will enter later and they can fill in the journal entry on round tag.

The Collection kit comes with 4 sheets of PP, a sheet of tags (I like to sand the tags to take away the little bumps left with a Tim Holtz sander that you can find at the STORE), pack of bling/flower brads, pack of brads and a sheet of stickers.

Fall Card

Hi This is Gaby with a fall card
using just the Cuttlebug that you can find
at the STORE

I used the Autumn Type embossing folder to emboss the orange cardstock followed by a layer of vellum embossed using the Pumkin Harvest embossing folder.  I inked the orange paper after embossing so that the words would show through the vellum.  The scalloped edge at the bottom and bubble edge at the edge/left side were cut using the Baby Face Cuttlebug set as well as the tag.

I am entering this card in the Cricut Circle Blog.  Challenge: use Cuttlebug as the main tool....and I think I accomplished just that!
