Doodlebug had a Farm... EIEIO!!

And on that farm Doodlebug had the Barnyard Collection E I E I O. You can find this collection at HappyNScrappin' ... E I E I O!!

Ok, enough of the singing, I know! It's Emily here, to show you my latest creation which was made using the Barnyard Collection from Doodlebug

I made a mini album for some of the photos of the kids that I have from my parent's farm in Illinois. It is just the right size for some of the last ones we took!

I covered the Blackboard album with brown cardstock from Bazzill.  I then used the stickers from the collection to create a little scene. I will be honest... stickers scare me. I used to never have reason to use them, but lately stickers have been a lot better than they used to be! Not to mention, these ones are super cute!

For the rest of the pages I added some more of the stickers, making little scenes, after covering the pages with some of the collection papers.

One other thing I should add, is that I used the Imaginisce D-Stress tool to distress all of the edges of my pages and some of the photo mats. I am seriously in LOVE with this tool. I think it is my new best friend. I got it from the store as soon as I saw it was in and know I am going to get great use out of it!!!

The Doodlebug Cute cuts from this collection are adorable!! Unfortunately, my album was a bit too small for some of them, but no worries. I have another project to use them on!

Below are the rest of the photos of the album...

I hope you enjoyed my little album, and I can't wait to fill it with photos!!! Or, possibly use it for a gift! Who knows. Either way, I am very happy with it!!

Two Layouts using some Sweet Love!

Good Morning to all of you!!! Emily here, with some projects I created using the "Sweet Love" Collection from Doodlebug and a little more of the MME's "State of the Heart" Collection that you can find at the HappyNScrappin' Store

I am really on a "Love" kick since Valentines Day is this month. I am really getting use out of the kits... I never thought I could get so much out of kits

This first layout was created with a picture from my boyfriend's brother's wedding. (That's a lot to say!) This is a picture of the bride's shoes.. you can see the mud on her dress because of the rain. It was a messy wedding! I love that she wore these shoes instead of something traditional. Most brides are doing this now since you can't see the shoes anyway!

I used an edge puncher along the bottom of the paper as well as on the "State of the Heart" paper that is in between all of the Doodlebug.  Something else that I did, purely by accident was the popped up circle from the photo of the shoes.... what happened is that on the original photo I wanted to add some liquid pearl around the shoes to make them pop... well, my cat got involved and totally smeared the liquid pearls before it dried, ruining the photo in that area. So, I printed another photo of the same size, and used my circle cutter to cut out a circle around the shoes, and took that circular photo of the shoes and raised it with foam dots to emphasize it! So, I fixed the mistake, and ended up loving the result even more!

This second layout is also from the wedding, and I used the "Sweet Love" Collection for this! I really just wanted this one simple so that the focus would be on the photo. I love the paper!!! So cute!

I so hope that you enjoyed my projects for today. My apologies for being a little late getting them posted... we have had some major storms here and I was with the kiddos because of snow days. They kept me pretty occupied, so I was super tired last night, and didn't get the post set up!

Below are the products from the store that I used.... remember there are awesome deals on the Doodlebug kits still!!!
